It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Stacey Warnecke (Hatfield) — a beloved wife, daughter, friend, and soul deeply cherished by all who knew her. Stacey passed away on 29th September 2025, shortly after successfully giving birth to her firstborn son, Axel, at home.
Tragically, soon after the delivery, an unforeseen and extremely rare complication arose. Despite being transferred to hospital and the extraordinary efforts of medical staff, nothing could be done to save her. Her passing has left an unfillable void in the lives of those who loved her.
Her husband shared, “It’s with a heavy heart that I share with you the unexpected passing of my beautiful wife, soul mate, and best friend, Stacey. I knew Stace for nine amazing years — she was the light of my life and the reason I got up in the morning. Words can’t do justice to how devastating this is for myself and everyone that knew and loved her. She was my lighthouse in the storm and the world is less bright without her in it. As her husband, I couldn’t ask for a better partner. She was the most beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent, and trustworthy human being I’ve ever known. She made me the man I am today, and everything I have in life is thanks to her. The happiest day of my life was getting to marry her, my best friend, on a white sand beach in the Maldives.”
Stacey was a child of the universe — someone who loved above all else to live a simple, stress-free life. She felt most at peace surrounded by nature, with sand beneath her feet and trees above her. Her appreciation for the small joys in life defined her spirit. She cared little for material things, valuing love, tranquility, and meaningful moments above all. One of her greatest joys was curling up with a good book, a mug of green tea, and her beloved French Bulldog, Winter, by her side.
Stacey will be remembered for her warmth, intelligence, and compassion — a radiant soul who brought joy and comfort to everyone around her. Her strength, kindness, and gentle nature left an enduring mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, their newborn son Axel, and a community of family and friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Funeral and memorial arrangements will be announced by her family in the coming days, as loved ones gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Stacey Hatfield (Warnecke) — a woman whose light will forever shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
